Supporting Race Harborough

Earlier this year, I met up with Brian for a coffee (and a rather tasty flapjack!) to discuss how the brewery could get involved with one of Race Harborough’s great events. The brewery likes to give back to our brilliant local community as often as we can. He mentioned to me that he was organising a new event called ‘Marston Trouble 10k Trail’.

The course consisted of field edges, forest trails and farm tracks. Being a rural brewery, we couldn’t see a better fit.

We agreed to sponsor the event and craft a special brew just for the occasion. We even managed to get a feature in our local paper the Harborough Mail! Each runner received a bottle of beer as a reward for completing the challenging trail. It doesn’t get much better than crossing the finishing line and being greeted with a fresh bottle of beer.

Congratulations to all the runners and we look forward to working with Race Harborough again in the future.

As a brewery we love getting involved with the community by supporting local sports clubs and events. Being a sportsman myself, I understand how much value it adds to our community. This isn’t the first and certainly won’t be the last time we support events like this. Watch this space!
