Partizan Brewing at Langton Brewery

We are very excited that Partizan Brewing has joined us here at Langton Brewery, providing you now with a wider choice of modern craft beers as well as our traditional cask ales.  Early pioneers of the modern beer scene in London, Partizan Brewing have built a strong reputation for brewing fantastic and innovative craft beers.

Like a lot of small breweries they have faced adverse trading conditions including spiralling production costs, soaring energy prices, increased interest rates and in particular pressure on rent (they were on the Bermondsey Beer Mile after all!).

Anyway, as a long-term friend of Partizan Brewing, Langton Brewery offered a hand. We were not ready to let their customers down (we know how important that is)  and neither were we ready to say goodbye to the excellent beers that they produce (and they do!).

Consequently, in March 2023, Andy Smith the founder of Partizan Brewing ( and a fine dining chef in his previous life) moved production out of London to Leicestershire. After getting used to the initial squeeze, we are now brewing like crazy to fulfil the requirements of traditional cask ale drinkers (always) but also those who prefer a more modern craft approach.

It certainly is, so come and try a Craft Lager, Cloudy IPA, Pale Ale,  Enkel, Altbier or Saison next time you are in the area, they will certainly feature at our beer festivals (but not as guest beers anymore) and when we are ready you will be able to purchase online.
