Brewery Operative and Delivery Driver
About us
Langton Brewery is a well-established independent brewery based on a farm near Market Harborough. We brew and distribute a wide range of beers under our Langton and Partizan brands. With a growing customer base, we’re looking for someone to help us keep things running smoothly behind the scenes and out on the road.
The role
This is a varied, hands-on role with a strong focus on beer deliveries, order fulfilment, and stock management. You’ll be a key part of the team, ensuring our beers are delivered safely, efficiently, and with a friendly face — often being the main point of contact with our pub and retail customers.
Key responsibilities
- Driving the brewery van to deliver beer (casks, kegs, and cases) to customers across a ~80-mile radius
- Loading and unloading deliveries (manual handling of casks up to 60kg)
- Managing and organising outgoing orders and customer delivery routes
- Liaising with pubs, retailers, and event organisers in a professional and friendly manner
- Keeping accurate delivery and stock records, both physically and on spreadsheets
- Helping manage warehouse and cold store organisation
- Assisting with basic brewery cleaning, cask/keg washing, and packaging as needed
- Supporting setup and logistics for events on and off-site
- Occasionally posting to social media or helping with content when needed
What we are looking for
- Full UK driving licence
- Aged 25 or over (for vehicle insurance purposes)
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Organised, dependable, and self-motivated
- Confident communicator with good customer service skills
- Competent with spreadsheets (e.g. Excel or Google Sheets)
- Bonus: Experience with social media platforms or previous delivery/logistics work
